Stockholm International Comics Festival

The Stockholm International Comics Festival is this weekend. I'll be there sharing a table with Mirelle Eriksson and Rolf Lejdegård. Actually, sharing a bunch of tables with Karl Landegren, Tom Waldton, Carl Krantz, Rickard Fornstedt, Efraim Ramsén and Elena Serrander too! Here's a list of what I'll be bringing to our table, at a reasonable price of course. I'm not sure what the price will be... but I'm sure it'll be something highly reasonable! Plus, the last comic in the list - Red Laser Day - is free and up for grabs!:

Scholarship for finishing Wayfar

I'm receiving a scholarship from the Cultural Committee of Uppsala to finish the Science Fantasy comic - Wayfar - together with Mirelle Eriksson! What better way to celebrate than to start a facebook site where we can post progress updates on the project? Cake maybe. And a Chapter 3 teaser!

Comix, Comixerie, Zombieporträtt!

Uppsala Comix var galet kul och trevligt! Med en massa intressanta föreläsningar och gäster och flera tillfällen att snacka med dem. Fick med mig hem dessa fina böcker, varav ett signerat ex. av Tommy Taylor and the Ship That Sank Twice och En Herrgårdssägen.

COMIXERIE

Nytt för i år var också Comix serietävling, Comixerie: Skicka in en synopsis och ett par teckningsprover till comixerie@uppsalacomix.se senast den 29 september. Med eller utan färg, med eller utan text, på svenska eller engelska och A5-format. Priset är att få sin serie tryckt i nästa års programblad! Dessutom får man gå upp på scen och snacka om sin serie. Kul!!

Inför seriemässan fick jag i uppdrag att teckna en eskapistisk serie att kicka igång tävlingen med och visa hur det blir i tryck. Serien heter Red Laser Day. Kika förbi Seriezonen i Uppsala eller Stockholms Internationella Seriefestival 2014 och fråga mig eller killarna vid Comixbordet efter ett ex!
